Inside Sales Representative – Generator/Engine Service

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving generator/engine service revenue by reactivating dormant customer accounts and converting Caterpillar Prioritized Service Events (PSEs) into new and recurring business. This role focuses on securing preventative maintenance agreements, identifying competitive service providers, and building long-term customer relationships through proactive outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and re-engage a list of customers inactive for five or more years
  • Research accounts to identify decision-makers, installed equipment, and current service providers
  • Proactively promote preventative maintenance contracts, inspections, and service solutions
  • Handle Caterpillar PSE leads, contacting customers to qualify needs and close incremental service opportunities
  • Document activity and opportunities accurately in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with service and sales teams to deliver timely solutions
