This course covers system operations and adjusting, troubleshooting techniques, and repair of Caterpillar D3500 A,B,C Engines, with a primary emphasis on planned maintenance and repair. There will be many hands-on-iron activities including head and piston disassembly and assembly, and all performance and iron adjustments and procedures. Effective use of Caterpillar service literature will be discussed. Note: This course is for diesel engines only.
