Course Description:

Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET) is diagnostic software required to communicate, diagnose and service electronically controlled Cat engines, and machines. When connected to an Electronic Control Module (ECM), a technician has the ability to diagnose existing and potential problems, configure and calibrate the product, and obtain data for analysis. After completing this course, you will be able to: – Identify and explain the components of the File menu. – Identify and explain the components of the View menu and customize Cat ET. – Demonstrate the ability to find a code and navigate to the troubleshooting procedure. User should be able to find and start diagnostic tests. – Identify and Explain the components of the Information menu. – Identify and Explain the components of the Service menu. – Identify and Explain the components of the Utilities menu. – Identify and Explain the components of the Help menu.
